I hope to use this space as a tool to expand and refine my thoughts. I hope to improve my abilities to think logically (and hopefully without logical fallacy), and to express myself in writing. I do not claim to be brilliant. I am not a philosopher. I am not perfect in my reasoning. Although, I aspire to any or all of these -- perhaps some day in the distant future I'll reach at least one of my goals.

Therefore, I'm open to criticism (preferably of a constructive nature), ideas, advice, and suggestions.

I don't intend to use this journal to discuss anything deeply personal (I have another journal for that), but I will use it to discuss issues about which I am passionate. Namely, mental illness stigma -- it's something I hope to devote my life to understanding and fighting. I will also discuss anything I've read, watched, or heard that has moved me and/or inspired any (what I believe to be) interesting thinking.

This journal will be mostly friends-only for now, but I'll happily add anyone who leaves a message alerting me to an interest in adding me.
